Dear Wesley Chapel,

            As you know, Rex left for Afghanistan on May 5 for a year-long combat deployment.  Since he has such restricted access to telephones and the internet, Rex started to write a blog to help keep in touch with his parents and the extended family and friends while he’s away. 

            Rex truly enjoys writing his blog posts about the latest missions he’s gone on and especially about the humanitarian missions they are planning.  He would very much like to share his experiences with the church family, and he wants to invite anyone who is interested to read his blog at http://afghanistanmylasttour.com/

            As his wife, I would like to encourage members of Wesley Chapel to visit the blog to send Rex messages of encouragement.  You will find a comment button at the end of each blog entry Rex’s posts on the blog.  Even though he rarely has time to write back, he does appreciate all the incoming messages tremendously.
