Greetings saints,
We have now arrived in April. Spring is my favorite season where we see life restored to the trees that lost their leaves over the winter. We see crocus, daffodils, hyacinths and other spring flowers shooting up through the ground. Things look new and fresh as we begin to get our yards ready to keep them mowed and looking nice.
This reminds me that we have new life in Christ. He can take an old life as a nonbeliever and turn us into a new creation as a believer. He can take the one who has backslidden away from his/her commitment to Him and the church and restore that commitment. He can take a relationship that you had with Him you are not fulfilling and reestablish it to a brand new beginning. The Lord could put a spark in your heart to be the committed disciple you need to be as a follower of Christ. Remember this, you are never too far away from Him that He won’t reach out to you. You are not such a great sinner that He won’t forgive you. When you think that you are too bad, too far away from a relationship with Him, think of spring and the renewal we see.
Please come and be renewed, revitalized, refreshed and revived!
As we speak of renewal, I encourage you to come to our revival/renewal services on April 7th. The Rev. Dane Cramer from Somerset will be our speaker. He will be with us at our Sunday morning worship service, along with a service on Sunday evening at 7:30 p.m. Please come and be renewed, revitalized, refreshed and revived.
